ABSTRACT

The effect of soil or foliage fertilization with various doses of ionic or elementary sulphur on crude oil content obtained from spring rapeseeds of "Star" variety and on the content of essential unsaturated fatty acids (EFA) (myristoleic (C14:l), palmitoleic (C16:l), oleic (C18:l), linoleic (C18:2), eicosenoic (C20:l)) and saturated fatty acids (SFA) (palmitic (C16:0) and stearic (C18:0)) in the "Star" spring rapeseeds has been determined.

It was found that fertilization with sulphur sligtly decreased the oil content in the seeds, irrespective of the form (ionic or elementary) and the method of sulphur application (soil or foliage fertilization). However, it stimulated the total increase in EFA and a decrease in saturated fatty acids content in the obtained oil. The highest total increase in EFA and, at the same time, decrease in SFA content were obtained after applying foliage sulphur fertilization in elementary form.

Elementary sulphur fertilization stimulated an increase in oleic, linoleic, palmitooleic and stearic acids content, however it caused a decrease in eicosenoic and palmitic acid content. Ionic sulphur fertilization stimulated an increase in oleic and palmitoleic acid content and a decrease in eicosenoic, palmitic, linoleic and stearic acid content. The statisticc significant was the increasing of glucossinolates wen the sulphur fertilyser of 60 kg were used ( PO ,01).

Byl posuzovan vliv pudniho nebo listoveho hnojeni s ruznymi davkami iontove, nebo elementarni siry na obsah oleje ziskane"ho ze semen jarni fepky odrudy "Star". V olejich byl dale posuzovan obsah esencialnich nenasycenych mastnych kyselin (EFA) (myristoolejove (C14:l), palmitoolejove" (C16:l), olejove (C18:l), linolove (C18:2), eikosenov6 (C20:l) a nasycenych mastnych kyselin (SFA) palmitove (C16:0) a stearove (C18:0).

Bylo zjiStSno, ie hnojeni sirou postupnS snizovalo obsah oleje v semenech nezavisle na forme hnojeni (iontove vazanou, nebo elementarni sirou) a metodS aplikace (hnojeni do pudy nebo foliami). Naopak celkovS zvySilo obsah nenasycenych mastnych kyselin (EFA) a snizilo obsah nasycenych mastnych kyselin. Celkove zvySeni EFA a ve stejnem Case snizeni SFA bylo zjiStSno po aplikaci listove vyzivy se sirou v elementarni formS. Elementarni sira stimulovala zvySeni obsahu mastnych kyselin olejove, linolove, palmitoolejove' a stearove, ale soucasnS zaprifiinila snizeni obsahu mastnych kyselin eikosenove a palmitove. Hnojeni sirou v iontove forme stimulovalo zvySeni obsahu kyseliny olejove a palmitoolejove a snizeni eikosenove, palmitove, linolove a stearove ze skladby mastnych kyselin. Pfi pouziti davek siry v mnozstvi 60 kg se projevilo statisticky vyznamnym narustem obsahu glukosinolatu v semenech repky (P<0,01).
